![]() ![]() Some baddies however do always target the house, such as Skully's minions, but the vast majority of baddies will always look for a veggie before going for the house, as long as you're not over the hunger limit. I believe I can help clarify the mechanics that may be causing some confusion, particularly what makes baddies target your house instead of your crops!Īs mentioned during one of the tutorial prompts, when you begin a night cycle at your hunger limit (going to sleep with 100 hunger, or fainting) all baddies can sense that you're at the brink of despair, and will choose to go straight for the house - meaning it's important to do everything you can to avoid fainting or going to sleep with too much hunger. Please keep on your great work and thank you some much for Unicorn Morgana. Is it supposed to be like that? I think, that´s the reason for the mysterious "difficulty spike" other players talk about. My plants are happy though - a barrier set in night 1 will still stand by night 7 without caring about. Unfortunatly I have very limited possibilities to protect it, even more if there are no beets around (like on the beach on most sides). I see, that we have several possibilities to mitigate damage to crops like barriers and scarecrows.īut - at least for me - baddies don´t care about my crops at all, they merrily go straight to my house.
